FC 7. Ability to optimize logistics operations and coordinate orders for the transportation of goods from the manufacturer to the consumer, comply with laws, regulations and requirements of quality management systems.

The ability to evaluate plans and proposals for the organization and technology of transportation, made by other subjects, and to make the necessary changes, based on the technical and operational parameters and principles of operation of objects and devices of the transport infrastructure, vehicles.

Learning outcomes: PRN 2. Critically evaluate the scientific values and achievements of society in the development of transport technologies.
PRN 8. Develop, design, manage projects in the field of transport systems and technologies.
PRN 10. Develop and use transport technologies taking into account requirements for environmental protection.
PRN 11. Classify and identify transport processes and systems. Evaluate parameters of transport systems. To carry out system analysis and forecasting of the operation of transport systems.
PRN 12. Find solutions for rational methods of organizing loading and unloading operations. Plan schedules for loading and unloading operations. Choose mechanisms and means of loading and unloading operations.
PRN 13. To organize and manage cargo transportation in various connections. Choose the type, brand, type of vehicles and traffic routes. Monitor the progress of transportation.
PRN 16. Choose effective technologies for the interaction of modes of transport. Analyze the possibilities of using various options for the interaction of modes of transport.
PRN 19. Explain the operational, technical-economic, technological, legal, social and environmental efficiency of the transportation organization.

Summary of the subject: During the study of this educational discipline, the student acquires theoretical and practical knowledge and skills regarding the development of schemes for the organization of production processes on the railway, based on the results of various studies of indicators of freight and commercial work and forecasting the development of transport systems. Here, the expediency and optimality of the use of various means and methods of cargo and commercial work by its participants, in particular, the use of automated control systems during the execution of commercial operations, are considered in detail. The entire complex of such information meets the requirements of current norms and standards, as well as progressive modern methods of improving the transportation environment.

The main provisions of the organization of freight transportation and commercial work of railways.
Management of freight and commercial activities.
General concepts of freight management of stations. Railway approach tracks.
Railway warehouses and platforms. Basics of design and calculations of freight management devices.
Vehicles for transporting goods. Weight management.
The basics of planning freight transportation by rail. Organization of transportation by routes of consignors.
Transport classification of goods.
Factors determining the properties and quality of cargo.
Containers and packing materials.
Transport characteristics of goods and their influence on the organization of transport.
Acceptance of cargo for transportation. Loading and shipment of cargo.
Operations with cargo during transportation.
Cargo operations at the destination station.
Storage and delivery of cargo.
Ensuring the safety of cargo during transportation.
Practical training:
Definition of the data coding system in transport documents.
Filling out the registration card form GU-1, incl. in terms of electronic document circulation.
Completing the Memo on the use of wagons (form GU-45) and Information on the fee for the use of wagons (form GU-46), including in terms of electronic document circulation.
Filling out the electronic Bill of Lading in internal communications (using the goods cashier's ATM) in the conditions of electronic document flow.
Assessment methods and criteria: Students' knowledge is assessed using the following methods:
1. Protection of reports from practical works in written form by conducting a control event on the subject of the work in the form of a test.
4. Completion of the assessment based on the results of studying the discipline, which consists of three-level theoretical and practical tasks.
5. Conducting the oral component based on the results of the written test, the questions of which are based on the content of practical tasks.

Performance and defense of practical works - 40 points.
Credit control:
Written component - 50 points.
Oral component - 10 points.
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100-88 points - certified with an “excellent” grade - High level: the student demonstrates an in-depth mastery of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the discipline, systematic knowledge, skills and abilities of their practical application. The mastered knowledge, skills and abilities provide the ability to independently formulate goals and organize learning activities, search and find solutions in non-standard, atypical educational and professional situations. The applicant demonstrates the ability to make generalizations based on critical analysis of factual material, ideas, theories and concepts, to formulate conclusions based on them. His/her activity is based on interest and motivation for self-development, continuous professional development, independent research activities, implemented with the support and guidance of the teacher. 87-71 points - certified with a grade of “good” - Sufficient level: involves mastery of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the discipline at an advanced level, conscious use of knowledge, skills and abilities to reveal the essence of the issue. Possession of a partially structured set of knowledge provides the ability to apply it in familiar educational and professional situations. Aware of the specifics of tasks and learning situations, the student demonstrates the ability to search for and choose their solution according to the given sample, to argue for the use of a particular method of solving the problem. Their activities are based on interest and motivation for self-development and continuous professional development. 70-50 points - certified with a grade of “satisfactory” - Satisfactory level: outlines the mastery of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the discipline at the average level, partial awareness of educational and professional tasks, problems and situations, knowledge of ways to solve typical problems and tasks. The applicant demonstrates an average level of skills and abilities to apply knowledge in practice, and solving problems requires assistance, support from a model. The basis of learning activities is situational and heuristic, dominated by motives of duty, unconscious use of opportunities for self-development. 49-00 points - certified with a grade of “unsatisfactory” - Unsatisfactory level: indicates an elementary mastery of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the discipline, a general understanding of the content of the educational material, partial use of knowledge, skills and abilities. The basis of learning activities is situational and pragmatic interest.
