Завдання: Studying the academic discipline involves the formation and development of students' competencies:
integral: the ability to solve complex specialized tasks and practical problems in the field of international relations, public communication and regional studies, foreign policy activities of states, international interactions between states, international organizations and non-state actors, which are characterized by the complexity and uncertainty of conditions and involves the application of theories of social sciences and special scientific methods of researching problems of international relations;
general:
- the ability to exercise one's rights and obligations as a member of society, to realize the values ??of civil society and the need for its sustainable development, the rule of law, the rights and freedoms of man and a citizen of Ukraine;
- the ability to preserve and multiply moral, cultural, scientific values ??and achievements of society based on an understanding of the history and patterns of development of the subject area, its place in the general system and knowledge about nature and society, and in the development of society, technology and engineering, to use various types and forms of physical activity for active recreation and leading a healthy lifestyle;
- ability to learn and master modern knowledge;
- knowledge and understanding of the subject area and understanding of professional activity;
- ability to work in an international context;
- ability to generate new ideas (creativity);
- ability to apply knowledge in practical situations;
- ability to abstract thinking, analysis and synthesis;
- ability to use information and communication technologies;
- ability to communicate in the state language both orally and in writing;
- ability to search, process and analyze information from various sources, in particular through the use of information and communication technologies.

- ability to identify signs and trends of development, understand the nature, dynamics, principles of organizing international relations, public communications and/or regional studies;
- ability to analyze international processes in various contexts, in particular political, security, legal, economic, social, cultural and informational;
- the ability to solve complex specialized tasks and practical problems in the field of international relations, foreign policy of states, public communications, regional studies;
- the ability to analyze international integration processes in the world and on the European continent, and the place of Ukraine in them;
- awareness of the national interests of Ukraine in the international arena;
- the ability to apply knowledge of the characteristics of the development of countries and regions, the features and patterns of global processes and the place of individual states in them to solve complex specialized tasks and problems;
- the ability to analyze the structure and dynamics of international public communications, to identify their impact on the international system, state and public institutions;
- the ability to carry out communication and information and analytical activities in the field of international relations (in Ukrainian and foreign languages);
- the ability to apply modern technologies for searching, processing and presenting information to analyze processes in the international arena;
- understanding the specifics of forming the image of the state as one of the determining factors of success and stability in the world;
- understanding of information and communication processes in national, regional and global dimensions.
Learning outcomes: • counteract threats to information security facilities;
• use information technology to protect information;
• determine the security of media, software, devices, computer networks, their components;
• formulate tasks for the protection of information and, formalizing them, determine ways of solving them;
• master the strategy of selecting attack detection systems;
• acquire practical skills in working with conceptual models for the use and storage of sensitive documents.

Summary of the subject: Basic concepts of information security. Technical methods and means of protection of information. Protection of personal information, protection of information in local, corporate and global networks. Classic cryptographic methods of information security. Symmetric and asymmetric cryptosystems. Electronic digital signature. Phishing attacks, their types and characteristics. Information security of the state. Electronic document flow in Ukraine.

Assessment methods and criteria: • Current control (40%): oral questioning, test and laboratory tasks.
• Final control (60%): exam, written-oral form.

• oral interview and laboratory work – 30 points
• testing – 10 points
Examination control:
• written component – ??60 points
• oral component – ??10 points (within the points allocated for the written component)

Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100-88 points - certified with an “excellent” grade - High level: the student demonstrates an in-depth mastery of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the discipline, systematic knowledge, skills and abilities of their practical application. The mastered knowledge, skills and abilities provide the ability to independently formulate goals and organize learning activities, search and find solutions in non-standard, atypical educational and professional situations. The applicant demonstrates the ability to make generalizations based on critical analysis of factual material, ideas, theories and concepts, to formulate conclusions based on them. His/her activity is based on interest and motivation for self-development, continuous professional development, independent research activities, implemented with the support and guidance of the teacher. 87-71 points - certified with a grade of “good” - Sufficient level: involves mastery of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the discipline at an advanced level, conscious use of knowledge, skills and abilities to reveal the essence of the issue. Possession of a partially structured set of knowledge provides the ability to apply it in familiar educational and professional situations. Aware of the specifics of tasks and learning situations, the student demonstrates the ability to search for and choose their solution according to the given sample, to argue for the use of a particular method of solving the problem. Their activities are based on interest and motivation for self-development and continuous professional development. 70-50 points - certified with a grade of “satisfactory” - Satisfactory level: outlines the mastery of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the discipline at the average level, partial awareness of educational and professional tasks, problems and situations, knowledge of ways to solve typical problems and tasks. The applicant demonstrates an average level of skills and abilities to apply knowledge in practice, and solving problems requires assistance, support from a model. The basis of learning activities is situational and heuristic, dominated by motives of duty, unconscious use of opportunities for self-development. 49-00 points - certified with a grade of “unsatisfactory” - Unsatisfactory level: indicates an elementary mastery of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the discipline, a general understanding of the content of the educational material, partial use of knowledge, skills and abilities. The basis of learning activities is situational and pragmatic interest.
