Завдання: The study of the academic discipline involves the formation of competencies in students:
integral:
? the ability to solve complex specialized tasks and practical problems in the field of international relations, public communication and regional studies, foreign policy activities of states, international interactions between states, international organizations and non-state actors, which are characterized by the complexity and uncertainty of conditions and involves the application of theories of social sciences and special scientific methods for studying problems of international relations.

? the ability to exercise one's rights and obligations as a member of society, to realize the values ??of civil society and the need for its sustainable development, the rule of law, the rights and freedoms of man and a citizen of Ukraine;

? the ability to apply knowledge of the characteristics of the development of countries and regions, the features and patterns of global processes and the place of individual states in them to solve complex specialized tasks and problems;
Learning outcomes: ZN1. know and understand the nature of international relations and regional development, the evolution, the state of theoretical research on international relations and world politics, as well as the nature and sources of state policy in the international arena and the activities of other participants in international relations.
ZN2. know and understand the nature and dynamics of international security, understand the features of its provision at the global, regional and national levels, know the nature and approaches to resolving international and internationalized conflicts.
ZN3. know the nature of international cooperation, the nature of interaction between international actors, the relationship between state and non-state actors in world politics.
ZN4. know the principles, mechanisms and processes of ensuring the foreign policy of states, the interaction between foreign and domestic policies, the definition and implementation of national interests of states in the international arena, the process of forming and implementing foreign policy decisions.
ZN5. know the nature and mechanisms of international communications.
ZN6. know the nature and nature of interactions of individual countries and regions at the global, regional and local levels.

Summary of the subject: Social media platforms is an academic discipline studied by students of the specialty "International Relations, Public Communications and Regional Studies" with the aim of providing students with the skills to professionally conduct a systematic analysis of information and communication channels and distinguish between social media platforms.
Опис: Within the discipline, the main focus is on studying the following issues and topics: How the World Wide Web works, types of Internet communication, etiquette and addiction, signs and types of manipulation in social media platforms. Key platforms for presenting data (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn), Target audience of social networks, Storytelling, long reads, landing pages - effective ways to present information to the target audience, Data visualization, Blogger content strategy, Hashtags, Algorithms for promoting accounts in social media, Determining the effectiveness of activities in social media. Popularity, attendance, number of followers, etc.
Assessment methods and criteria: Lectures, laboratory classes, independent work; heuristic method; research method; reproductive method.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: Perfect knowledge of the material, processing of mandatory and additional sources, high activity, accurate and complete answers – 3 points; sufficient knowledge of the material, processing of mandatory sources, generally correct answers to questions – 2 points; superficial knowledge of the material, processing of not all mandatory sources, insufficient activity – 1 point.
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100-88 points - certified with an “excellent” grade - High level: the student demonstrates an in-depth mastery of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the discipline, systematic knowledge, skills and abilities of their practical application. The mastered knowledge, skills and abilities provide the ability to independently formulate goals and organize learning activities, search and find solutions in non-standard, atypical educational and professional situations. The applicant demonstrates the ability to make generalizations based on critical analysis of factual material, ideas, theories and concepts, to formulate conclusions based on them. His/her activity is based on interest and motivation for self-development, continuous professional development, independent research activities, implemented with the support and guidance of the teacher. 87-71 points - certified with a grade of “good” - Sufficient level: involves mastery of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the discipline at an advanced level, conscious use of knowledge, skills and abilities to reveal the essence of the issue. Possession of a partially structured set of knowledge provides the ability to apply it in familiar educational and professional situations. Aware of the specifics of tasks and learning situations, the student demonstrates the ability to search for and choose their solution according to the given sample, to argue for the use of a particular method of solving the problem. Their activities are based on interest and motivation for self-development and continuous professional development. 70-50 points - certified with a grade of “satisfactory” - Satisfactory level: outlines the mastery of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the discipline at the average level, partial awareness of educational and professional tasks, problems and situations, knowledge of ways to solve typical problems and tasks. The applicant demonstrates an average level of skills and abilities to apply knowledge in practice, and solving problems requires assistance, support from a model. The basis of learning activities is situational and heuristic, dominated by motives of duty, unconscious use of opportunities for self-development. 49-00 points - certified with a grade of “unsatisfactory” - Unsatisfactory level: indicates an elementary mastery of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the discipline, a general understanding of the content of the educational material, partial use of knowledge, skills and abilities. The basis of learning activities is situational and pragmatic interest.
