Мета вивчення дисципліни: to acquisition of knowledge, formation of abilities and skills from the conceptual and theoretical foundations of international information relations; on the methodology of using theoretical knowledge in the practice of foreign policy activity; methods and forms of searching, obtaining, obtaining, accumulating, primary processing and deep transformation of relevant information; analysis of complex issues of international relations, taking into account the diversity of information sources, their contradictions.

Learning outcomes: 02: To know and understand the nature and dynamics of international security, understand the features of its provision on a global, regional and national level, to know the nature and approaches to the resolution of international and internationalized conflicts. 05: Know the nature and mechanisms of international communications. 07: Carry out a description and analysis of the international situation, collect from various sources the necessary information about international and foreign policy events and processes. 08: Collect, process and analyze large volumes of information about the state of international relations, foreign policy of Ukraine and other states, regional systems, international communications. 09: Investigate the problems of international relations, regional development, foreign policy, international communications, using modern political, economic and legal theories and concepts, scientific methods and interdisciplinary approaches, present the results research, provide appropriate recommendations. 11: Carry out an applied analysis of international relations, foreign policy of Ukraine and other states, international processes and the international situation in accordance with the set goals, prepare informative and analytical. 15: Understand and apply to solve complex problems specialized tasks of international relations, social communications and regional studies current legislation, international regulatory documents and agreements, reference materials, current standards and technical conditions, etc.

Summary of the subject: International information is an academic discipline studied by students of the specialty "International relations, public communications and regional studies" with the aim of forming students' knowledge and skills about the definition and use of international information relations in the information society of the 21st century, as well as to facilitate students' mastery of the methodology of scientific knowledge of a large array of information , which has a constant tendency to increase. Within the scope of the discipline, the main attention is focused on the study of the following questions and topics: the subject, concept and structure of international information, the essence and features of the information society, information resource in the system of social development, the specifics of information and analytical activity in the field of international relations, concepts and types of analytical information, concepts, forms and trends in the development of information and analytical centers, the basics of modern international information systems, the concept and essence of information war, the main provisions of information security.

Information society in the dimensions of the innovation-information paradigm of global development. Infrastructure and specifics of information market functioning. Foundations of international information policy. Information policy of Ukraine. Information-analytical activities in the field of international relations. Activities of international organizations in the field of information and communication. International information technologies. Public communications in the modern world. International information in the foreign policy system. Information-analytical centers in contemporary international relations. Information wars. Special information operations: types, methods, forces and means. International information security. Information security of Ukraine. Information factors of international conflicts. International information business. Infoethics.
Assessment methods and criteria: 1. Oral survey (individual and face-to-face in the form of questions for discussion and control questions). 2. Evaluation of written works (terminological dictations, control tests). 3. Examination control work.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: • formative assessment: oral questioning, written questioning, individual home assignments preparation (40%); • summative assessment: credit in written and oral form (60%).
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100-88 points - certified with an “excellent” grade - High level: the student demonstrates an in-depth mastery of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the discipline, systematic knowledge, skills and abilities of their practical application. The mastered knowledge, skills and abilities provide the ability to independently formulate goals and organize learning activities, search and find solutions in non-standard, atypical educational and professional situations. The applicant demonstrates the ability to make generalizations based on critical analysis of factual material, ideas, theories and concepts, to formulate conclusions based on them. His/her activity is based on interest and motivation for self-development, continuous professional development, independent research activities, implemented with the support and guidance of the teacher. 87-71 points - certified with a grade of “good” - Sufficient level: involves mastery of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the discipline at an advanced level, conscious use of knowledge, skills and abilities to reveal the essence of the issue. Possession of a partially structured set of knowledge provides the ability to apply it in familiar educational and professional situations. Aware of the specifics of tasks and learning situations, the student demonstrates the ability to search for and choose their solution according to the given sample, to argue for the use of a particular method of solving the problem. Their activities are based on interest and motivation for self-development and continuous professional development. 70-50 points - certified with a grade of “satisfactory” - Satisfactory level: outlines the mastery of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the discipline at the average level, partial awareness of educational and professional tasks, problems and situations, knowledge of ways to solve typical problems and tasks. The applicant demonstrates an average level of skills and abilities to apply knowledge in practice, and solving problems requires assistance, support from a model. The basis of learning activities is situational and heuristic, dominated by motives of duty, unconscious use of opportunities for self-development. 49-00 points - certified with a grade of “unsatisfactory” - Unsatisfactory level: indicates an elementary mastery of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the discipline, a general understanding of the content of the educational material, partial use of knowledge, skills and abilities. The basis of learning activities is situational and pragmatic interest.
