Characteristics of the educational program: 1. Object of study – transport systems and technologies (by type);
2. Learning objectives – training of specialists capable of solving complex tasks and problems of the transport industry in the field of professional (scientific) activity in a certain type of transport systems and technologies and in the learning process, which involves conducting research and implementing innovations and is characterized by uncertainty of conditions and requirements;
3. Theoretical content of the subject area – sections of science and technology that study and combine connections and patterns in the theory of the functioning of transport systems and technologies;
4. Methods, techniques and technologies. Analytical, numerical and experimental methods of studying the functioning of transport systems, methods of long-term, short-term and operational management of transport systems, transport technologies;
5. Tools and equipment – ??computer and software, multimedia tools; modern devices for controlling transportation and managing the operation of transport systems; full-scale samples and models of transport facilities.
Програмні результати навчання: 1. Search for the necessary information in scientific and technical literature, databases, other sources, analyze and objectively evaluate information in the field of transport systems and technologies and on related interdisciplinary problems;
2. Freely discuss issues of professional activity, projects and research in the field of transport systems and technologies in the state and foreign languages, orally and in writing;
3. Make effective decisions in the field of transport systems and technologies, taking into account technical, social, economic and legal aspects, generate and compare alternatives, assess the necessary resources and limitations, analyze risks;
4. Communicate their knowledge, decisions and the basis for their adoption to specialists and non-specialists in a clear and unambiguous form;
5. Ensure the safety of people and the environment during professional activities and the implementation of projects in the field of transport systems and technologies;
6. Develop new and improve existing transport systems and technologies, determine the development goals, existing limitations, efficiency criteria and areas of use;
7. Develop and analyze graphical, mathematical and computer models of transport systems and technologies;
8. Develop technologies for freight and passenger transportation by mode of transport based on research and relevant data;
9. Investigate the impact of customs procedures on the efficiency of transport technologies;
10. Develop and apply modern technologies for freight forwarding services;
11. Analyze and evaluate the efficiency of supply chains and logistics centers, calculate relevant indicators;
12. Manage complex technological and production processes of transport systems and technologies, including unpredictable ones and those requiring new strategic approaches;
13. Organize the work of personnel, ensure their professional development and objective assessment;
14. Use specialized software for the analysis, development and improvement of transport systems and technologies;
15. Assess the impact of the human factor on road safety, forecast the behavior of participants in the transport process;
16. Analyze modern approaches to shaping the mobility of the future, investigate the latest developments in this area for the feasibility of their application and effectiveness;
17. Identify and analyze the factors of urban mobility, on the basis of which to justify changes in transport policy from the relevant local, organizational, as well as individual and social points of view.
Academic mobility: Based on bilateral agreements between the National University "Lviv Polytechnic" and universities of Ukraine or higher education institutions of foreign partner countries.
