Abstract: The work includes a study of the features of personnel protection at high-hazard facilities (HHP). The purpose of the study is: to improve the personnel protection system at HHP facilities. To achieve the goal, the following was carried out: - generalization and analysis of chemical hazard in the territory of Ukraine; - generalization and analysis of domestic and foreign experience in eliminating the consequences of major chemical accidents; analysis of existing methods for assessing the possible situation in the event of major accidents at chemically hazardous facilities and the calculation of forces and means necessary for carrying out the specified work; - forecasting the chemical situation at OJSC "Lvivholod"; - analysis of engineering measures for the chemical stability of the facility. - study of protective properties and justification of the regulations for the use of PPE. The object of the study is the process of heat transfer during the action of ammonia on the protective clothing of the personnel of the OPN. The subject of the study is the protective properties of gas-chemical protective clothing Research methods To achieve the goal and solve the tasks set, comparative analysis, experimental and analytical research methods were used. Scientific novelty of the results obtained: the time of the protective action of GCHZO during the action of ammonia was determined and the regulations for the use of special PPE during an emergency were determined. The author focuses on the danger associated with the presence of personnel on the territory of the OPN during the emergence and liquidation of an emergency situation (ES). The production of chemicals, as well as the industries that use them, are expanding, which means a high potential for increasing occupational risk. In addition, with the annual introduction of new chemicals, exposure regulation mechanisms, such as the introduction of maximum permissible values of occupational exposure, are trying to keep up with this. Therefore, there is an urgent need to take measures and introduce a number of effective measures to protect and prevent harm to workers, their families and local communities. Thus, an analysis of the latest trends and priorities when it comes to protecting the health and safety of workers from exposure to chemicals in production is urgently needed. The work investigates the technological process of SSR with the presence of ammonia, the features of emergency situations and the elimination of emergencies. Analytical calculations have been carried out regarding the contamination of territories and the features of the elimination of emergencies in the community. Experimental studies of PPE have been carried out to establish the actual time of the protective action of PPE. The research methods and the cost-effectiveness of the proposed personnel protection measures have been substantiated. The work has been carried out in accordance with the task and fully complies with it. The work consists of an introduction, four sections, conclusions and a list of sources used. Each section of the qualification work reveals the essence of the tasks set for the author. In the first section of the work, a comprehensive analysis of hazardous factors and risks to the health of personnel at the Lvivholod Emergency Management Facility was conducted. In the second section, the places of the most likely occurrence of emergencies were investigated and predicted. In the third section, an analysis of modern methods and means for assessing the quality indicators of gas and chemical protective clothing was conducted and an experiment was conducted to determine the time of PPE protection for personnel during emergencies. In the fourth section, a calculation of the economic efficiency of the use of PPE by employees at the emergency management facility was performed. The work investigated the characteristic hazards of the technological process at high-risk facilities. Using the example of the Lvivholod enterprise, calculations of possible personnel damage and contamination of territories in the event of an emergency with ammonia release were performed. An analysis of methods for determining the protective properties of gas and chemical protective clothing for emergency management facility personnel was conducted, which makes it possible to predict the time of protective action of various PPE. The results of the work can be used to predict the time of liquidation of emergencies at the emergency management facility in accordance with the actual time of PPE protection. The explanatory note is written concisely, clearly, and accurately, the graphic part of the work illustrates the research conducted and helps to better understand the work. The design of the explanatory note and slides meets the requirements for qualification works. Key words: personal protective equipment, emergency situations, high-risk objects.
