Abstract: The relevance of developing an information system for analyzing auction lots in online auctions is driven by the rapid growth of e-commerce, the increasing number of online platforms, and the growing complexity of selecting optimal offers within large data volumes. Auction participants increasingly face the need to quickly assess product value, verify item characteristics, identify potential risks, and make informed decisions in highly dynamic information environments. An information system capable of automating these processes provides users with tools for efficient lot comparison, identification of the most advantageous offers, reduction of uncertainty, and enhanced security during online trading. These factors emphasize the importance of the topic and the necessity of creating an effective software solution. The object of the study is the process of analyzing and processing auction lots in online auctions to determine the most suitable offers for the user. The subject of the study includes information models of auction lots, the operating principles of online auction platforms, and the system of criteria applied for evaluating and comparing auction offers. The purpose of this work is to develop an information system for analyzing lots in online auctions. Achieving this goal involves examining the subject area, analyzing existing solutions, defining system requirements, designing the architecture using the Rational Unified Process and UML notation, as well as implementing and testing the developed system. To achieve the stated goal, a sequence of tasks was performed, including the study of modern online auction principles, analysis of existing software solutions, and identification of their strengths and weaknesses. The research conducted examined the domain of online auctions, identified key trends in e-commerce development, and analyzed modern trading models. Revealed shortcomings of existing platforms—security issues, inconvenient interfaces, limited control mechanisms, and insufficient analytical support—confirmed the need for a new information system. The second chapter presents the conceptual and logical model of the system. UML diagrams allowed defining the architecture, business logic, and user interaction scenarios, thus forming clear software requirements. The third chapter justifies the choice of ASP.NET technology and the C# programming language, describing the system structure, data processing approaches, and integration possibilities, including the use of modern language models to enhance analytical functionality. The fourth chapter contains the results of system testing. Implemented features—user authorization, lot management, bidding, searching, and filtering—confirmed correct operation, usability, and compliance with web application standards. The economic analysis in the fifth chapter demonstrated the feasibility of system implementation: development costs amounted to 240,343.15 UAH, the quality indicator exceeded analogues, and the economic effect was estimated at 324,030.4 UAH. In conclusion, all objectives of the research were successfully met: the subject area was studied, the system model was built, the software product was implemented and tested, and an economic evaluation was conducted. The developed web system is an effective and promising solution for analyzing lots in online auctions. Keywords: online auctions, information system, lot analysis, online trading, e-commerce.
