Abstract: The master’s qualifying thesis «The use of artificial intelligence in the Ukrainian segment of YouTube news channels (on the example of «TSN»)» is presented in the form of a practical project – a training course – and is devoted to the application of artificial intelligence in the Ukrainian segment of YouTube news channels, in particular in the editorial office of the online media «TSN». The object of the study is the process of content creation, distribution, and monetization of the «TSN» news YouTube channels. The subject of the study is a technological model for using artificial intelligence (AI) tools to optimise editorial processes and increase the economic efficiency of YouTube news channels. The aim of the work is to develop, test and implement a comprehensive system for integrating AI tools into the daily work of TSN’s editors and video production team, culminating in the creation of a practical training course. Key results: 1) Developed and implemented the «TSN.ua editorial guidelines», which integrate journalistic standards with Google and YouTube algorithmic requirements, providing an ethical and technical framework for working with AI. 2) An «AI-assisted journalism» model was formed and tested, which made it possible to automate most routine tasks (SEO optimisation, transcription, translation) and reduce the time spent on content production. 3) The economic feasibility of using paid AI tools to scale the business has been proven: three foreign-language channels (including TSN English) have been successfully launched and are proving to be self-sustaining. 4) A «Practical сourse on the application of artificial intelligence in TSN YouTube news channels» has been created, which is a comprehensive tool for training editors in AI process management and quality control of generated content. The results of the work are of practical importance, as they were directly implemented in the TSN online media editorial office, serving as a basis for the professional development of journalists in the field of digital transformation and ensuring the high competitiveness and financial stability of the media project.
