Abstract: The master’s thesis is devoted to the design of a catalytic reforming unit for gasoline. The catalytic reforming process is used to increase the octane number of straight-run gasoline fractions and gasoline fractions obtained as a result of secondary oil refining processes. At modern oil refineries, one of the key technological processes is catalytic reforming, which allows obtaining high-octane gasoline, certain aromatic hydrocarbons (raw materials for organic synthesis) and technical hydrogen (hydrogen-containing gas), which is used in fuel hydrotreating processes. Catalytic reforming is one of the most common oil refining processes designed to convert straight-run gasoline fractions into highly aromatic distillates, which are used as the main component of high-octane gasolines. The purpose of this master’s thesis is the design and calculation of a catalytic reforming unit with continuous catalyst regeneration for PJSC "NPK-Halychyna" (Drohobych, Lviv region). To determine the design productivity of the plant, an analysis of the existing production facilities of PJSC "NPK-Halychyna" was conducted. Based on this analysis, a productivity of 720 thousand tons per year was selected for the design of a new gasoline catalytic reforming plant. The technology with a moving catalyst bed and continuous regeneration was selected as the basis for the design.
