Abstract: The current stage of development of international passenger transportation is due to the growth of population mobility, the intensification of labor migration, as well as the expansion of cultural and economic ties between Ukraine and the countries of the European Union. In such conditions, the issue of optimizing transport routes becomes particularly important, which makes it possible to increase the efficiency of international bus transportation. Bus transportation continues to remain one of the most convenient and economical ways of international passenger transportation, as it combines affordable travel costs with the possibility of direct connections between settlements where there are no railway or air routes. The route Nadvirna (Ukraine) - Pilsen (Czech Republic) is particularly relevant due to the steady demand among students, migrant workers, and tourists. The study has both practical and scientific value, as it is aimed at increasing the efficiency of international bus transportation. Route optimization will contribute to improving the economic performance of the transport enterprise and further integration of Ukraine into the European transport space. The object of the study is the process of organizing and performing international bus passenger transportation on the route Nadvirna (Ukraine) - Pilsen (Czech Republic), which is serviced by LLC "Lvivske ATP-14631". The subject of the study is methods and tools for optimizing the international bus route Nadvirna (Ukraine) - Plzen (Czech Republic), which are aimed at increasing the efficiency of the transportation process, reducing costs and improving the quality of passenger service in the activities of LLC "Lvivske - ATP-14631". The purpose of the master’s qualification work is to substantiate and develop measures to improve the international bus route Nadvirna - Pilsen in order to increase the efficiency of the work of LLC "Lvivske - ATP-14631", improve the quality of passenger service and reduce the costs of the enterprise. When solving the problem of increasing the efficiency of customer service of a transport enterprise, it is necessary to take into account a wide range of factors that influence the main parameters of technological processes and determine the specifics of their organization. At the current stage of development of transport science, the application of logistics management principles is recognized as the most justified and effective approach. The first section of the work analyzes the activities of LLC "Lvivske ATP-14631", examines the structural elements of the production process, characterizes the production and technical base of the enterprise and the organization of technical maintenance and current repairs of buses. The technical indicators of the current Nadvirna - Pilsen route were also analyzed, and an overview of European experience in improving road safety and the current state of accidents on Ukrainian roads was presented. The results obtained made it possible to determine the main objectives of the study, aimed at improving the organization and working conditions of driver crews to minimize the impact of the human factor. The second section presents the results of establishing bus speed regulations, a study of the Nadvirna - Plzen route was conducted, and the work and rest regimes of drivers were analyzed. The population’s demand for passenger transportation was assessed, the main characteristics of passenger flows were determined, and the legal basis for organizing and making changes to international bus routes was considered. The third section proposes measures aimed at increasing the efficiency of the passenger transportation process: the choice of vehicles is justified and the parameters of the optimized Nadvirna - Pilsen route are determined. The organization of the route network and the transportation process is also presented, the procedure for customs clearance at the Krakovets-Korchova checkpoint of Lviv Customs and the features of customs control of buses using technical means at the checkpoint are considered.
