Анотація: A review of the academic, legal, and analytical literature allowed for the systematization of modern approaches to defining the essence of international venture investment and its role in developing trade enterprises. Venture investments are understood as a strategic external financing instrument supporting business growth, technological modernization, market expansion, and the integration of enterprises into international value chains. Theoretical sources also highlight the importance of venture capital in enhancing competitiveness and stimulating innovative development. The administration of venture investment processes involves analytical, legal, organizational, and managerial activities aimed at attracting external capital, assessing risks, forecasting financial outcomes, and integrating international partners into enterprise development strategies. The legal framework regulating venture cooperation between Ukraine and Slovakia determines investment mechanisms, compliance requirements, and principles of bilateral economic collaboration. The subject of the research is the processes of attracting international venture investments into the development of domestic trade enterprises. The object of the research is the activity of “BI-TRADING” LLC in the context of cooperation with Slovak partners. The aim of this master’s thesis is to analyse the theoretical, legal, macroeconomic, and microeconomic aspects of attracting international venture investments into domestic trade enterprises and to develop recommendations for strengthening Ukrainian-Slovak cooperation and increasing the efficiency of “BI-TRADING” LLC. To achieve this objective, the following tasks are set: – analyse the theoretical foundations and essence of venture investment; – examine the legal framework regulating Ukrainian-Slovak investment cooperation; – conduct macroeconomic analysis of trade and investment relations between Ukraine and Slovakia; – analyse production-economic indicators and investment potential of “BI-TRADING” LLC; – forecast opportunities for attracting Slovak venture capital; – develop practical recommendations and justify the expected economic effect. The thesis consists of four chapters. Chapter 1, “Theoretical and legal foundations for attracting international venture investments”, presents theoretical approaches to venture financing, its role in business development, and the legal mechanisms regulating Ukrainian-Slovak cooperation Chapter 2, “Macroeconomic analysis of Ukrainian-Slovak economic cooperation”, assesses bilateral economic relations, foreign trade dynamics, and the venture activity of both countries Chapter 3, “Microeconomic research based on the case of ‘BI-TRADING’ LLC”, includes the company’s activity profile, analysis of production and economic indicators, and assessment of investment attractiveness. The research identifies declining ROA, insufficient diversification, and the need for modernization as key challenges Chapter 4, “Recommendations for attracting Slovak venture investments into the development of Ukrainian trade enterprises”, proposes practical measures, including the creation of a joint innovative trade-logistics hub with digital inventory management. The expected results include a +1.9% increase in ROA, expansion of markets, reduction of logistics costs, and intensification of Ukrainian-Slovak economic cooperation In conclusion, the thesis provides a comprehensive framework for understanding and improving mechanisms for attracting international venture investments into Ukrainian enterprises. The findings offer practical value for enhancing investment cooperation, increasing competitiveness, and supporting strategic development based on Ukrainian-Slovak partnership.
